I don’t really know why I keep my Facebook life private from my blog life. I just do. My friends and family don’t all know about my blog and vice versa. I don’t hide it from them, but I don’t advertise it either, I guess.
So on Tuesday, when my sister-in-law announced that she had gotten engaged (yay Kris!), I realized that we never really announced we were adopting. We never truly made it “Facebook official”!!! We had told our family and friends, but sheesh, everyone knows it doesn’t count until you announced it on Facebook, right?
Well, I had to remedy that right away:
That’s one more thing off my list. It’s nice keeping busy during these days of WAITING.
On another note, my youngest daughter Courtney had her physical yesterday. The only one in the family that had to sit through a physical for the adoption homestudy, since the rest of us have all already had one. She was a trooper, but was a little miffed when she learned that she will need to have several immunizations before she starts 6th grade next year!
